Legislative Policy Director at Husch Blackwell Strategies

Elizabeth helps clients develop comprehensive strategies to successfully navigate the legislative process and achieve their public policy goals. Prior to HBS, she served eight years as the budgetary policy director for the Colorado Senate Republicans specializing in matters related to the Joint Budget Committee. Her strengths include the ability to break down complex ideas on the state budget process and effectively communicate each piece.

Elizabeth has worked at the forefront of significant policy battles in Colorado for nearly a decade and through that experience has built a trusted network of policymakers, legislative staff, and other government affairs professionals.

Elizabeth earlier served as legislative aide to Colorado State Senator John Cooke where she first began to build her expertise in public policy.

Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado Denver.
