Tero Borg

Tero Borg has extensive experience in compliance and product approval management. Tero currently holds the position of Product Compliance Director at Husqvarna Construction, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Global Product Approval Manager at ESAB from September 2021 to February 2023. Before joining ESAB, Tero worked at Husqvarna Construction Products for five years, starting in August 2016. During their time there, they served as an Electrical Compliance Specialist, where they led activities related to regulatory compliance and standardization for the company's electrical product portfolio. Tero also participated in the development of electrical tool safety standards for international standards organizations.

Before their time at Husqvarna Construction Products, Tero worked at ESAB for eight years, starting in 2008. Tero held various roles at ESAB, including Global Products and Systems Certification Manager, Global Product Approval Administrator, and Acting Global Product Approval Manager. In these positions, Tero was responsible for third-party certification, coordinating quality compliance audits, and interpreting and negotiating regulatory requirements to optimize certification structures.

Prior to working in the compliance and product approval field, Tero gained experience in team leadership and security management as a Teamleader at Securitas Sverige AB. Tero was responsible for supervising, planning, and training security personnel. Additionally, Tero worked as a Clerk at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in 2001.

Tero Borg attended Chalmers University of Technology from 2010 to 2013, studying Mechatronics. Prior to that, they also briefly attended University West in 2010 for Quality Management, and the University of Gothenburg in 2009 for Economical history of wine. In addition, they have studied Automatization Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology from 1999 to 2001.
