Thomas Hedberg

Thomas Hedberg is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software and systems engineering, particularly within the automotive sector. Currently serving as Systems Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager at Husqvarna Group since September 2020, Thomas has held various leadership roles in the Battery Competence Center. Prior to this, significant contributions were made at Volvo Car Group as a Subject Matter Expert in software development processes, spanning from October 2017 to September 2020. Thomas's career includes extensive experience in control system design, model-based design methodologies, and functional safety across several companies, including Combine AB, Volvo Group Trucks Technology AB, and Saab Automobile AB. Thomas holds a Master of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dalarna University.
