Gertjan Snellink has been a dedicated Netwerk Engineer and Netwerk Specialist Floor Manager at ECT (Europe Container Terminals) since September 1995, contributing over two decades of expertise in this field. Gertjan has pursued extensive education at IP de groene ruimte, acquiring multiple certifications including ECC1, ECC2, ECC3 (Europees zaagbewijs), and foundational skills in using a chainsaw. Additionally, Gertjan has completed courses in climbing, earning certifications in climbing 1 and climbing 2, as well as a specialized certificate in felling techniques.

ECT operates two terminals to this extent: the Hutchison Ports ECT Delta and the Hutchison Ports ECT Euromax at the Maasvlakte (directly on the North Sea).
