Mitchel Rietdijk is an experienced HR professional currently serving as HR Operations Manager at ECT Rotterdam since August 2016, with a focus on ECT Services, which comprises approximately 600 employees. Prior roles at ECT include HR adviseur and HR afstudeerstagiair, during which a thesis was developed on preparing Generation X crane operators for the future. ECT operates two terminals to this extent: the Hutchison Ports ECT Delta and the Hutchison Ports ECT Euromax at the Maasvlakte (directly on the North Sea). European Gateway Services is a part of ECT Rotterdam, and offers its clients an extended network of inland terminals and extended gates that are connected to the deepsea terminals in Rotterdam through high-frequency rail and inland shipping services. Extra services are added to these efficient connections, especially in the area of customs clearance.
