Robert-Jan Dekker has extensive experience in finance and administration, currently serving as an Administrateur / assistent controller at Europe Container Terminals B.V. since September 2018. Prior to this role, Robert-Jan worked as a Finance professional for Dari Financial Services from December 2008 to August 2018, and held various finance positions through detachment at organizations such as Feenstra Warmte Totaal Zorg, Bird & Bird LLP, and multiple departments within the Gemeente Rotterdam. ECT operates two terminals to this extent: the Hutchison Ports ECT Delta and the Hutchison Ports ECT Euromax at the Maasvlakte (directly on the North Sea). European Gateway Services is a part of ECT Rotterdam, and offers its clients an extended network of inland terminals and extended gates that are connected to the deepsea terminals in Rotterdam through high-frequency rail and inland shipping services. Extra services are added to these efficient connections, especially in the area of customs clearance.
