Roland Schuring is an experienced professional in asset and maintenance management within the maritime and terminal industries. Currently serving as the Technical Maintenance Manager at ECT Rotterdam since June 2022, Roland is responsible for asset management and the maintenance of terminal equipment, while contributing to the formulation and execution of the terminal operations department policy. Previously, Roland held various managerial and leadership roles at Havenbedrijf Rotterdam NV from March 2003 to June 2021, including Asset Manager and Manager Asset Management, focusing on contract management, ISO55001 compliance, and comprehensive fleet management. Earlier experience includes project leadership positions at Scheepwerf Maaskant (Damen Shipyards) and Radio Holland, as well as maritime officer roles at SHELL TANKERS and Nedlloyd Lijnen BV. Roland Schuring holds two maritime officer degrees from the Hogere Zeevaartschool "Willem Barentsz."
