Richard C. Moore

Richard C. Moore, Jr. is chairman of Lehman-Roberts Company. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College and his MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He previously served as a trustee from 1981-84, 1985-88, and 1989-92. From 1995-97, he served as board chair. Mr. Moore has also served on the board at Memphis University School and Presbyterian Day School. He and his wife, Carey ’64, are both active members of The House, an inner-city ministry with the Neighborhood Christian Center and Young Life. He is a deacon and elder at Second Presbyterian Church. The Moores have four daughters, Catherine Moore Nelson ’89, Emily Moore Bragorgos ’91, Grace Moore Halliday ’94, and Maddi Moore Baucum ’07, and a son, Richard, III. They have 11 grandchildren, five of whom are Hutchison girls.
