Jeremy Hastings

Jeremy Hastings is a highly regarded expert and leader in community relations and business management with extensive experience across various sectors. As the Founder and Managing Director of Hutly since September 2018, Jeremy addresses critical challenges faced by tenants, property owners, and agencies. Previously, as the Founder and CEO of The Dock at East Shores, Jeremy transformed a garage into an award-winning restaurant and wine bar. Jeremy's background at Rio Tinto encompasses nearly a decade in community relations, social performance, and cultural heritage management, holding roles that included Manager of Communities and Communications and Specialist Aboriginal and Community Relations. Additional experience includes community relations work at Glencore Zinc and leadership as Camp Director at St. Vincent de Paul Society. Jeremy holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne, and has completed advanced studies in Mining Engineering and community relations in the resource sector.
