Alison Geddes

Alison Geddes is a highly experienced leader in environmental and sustainability management, currently serving as the Director of Environment and Sustainability at Hutt City Council since July 2022. With a strong background in local government consultancy through AEG Consulting since April 2021, Alison specializes in strategic change, transition coaching, and development support for local government planning and regulatory activities. Previous roles include General Manager Planning and Development for Whangarei District Council and various leadership positions in urban planning and building regulation. Alison holds multiple degrees from The University of Auckland and has completed a senior management program at Harvard Kennedy School, reflecting a solid foundation in business administration and environmental planning.
