Carol Tao

Carol Tao is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Management Accountant at Hutt City Council since January 2023. Prior to this role, Carol held positions as a Financial Accountant at MetService from May 2021 to January 2023, and as a Finance Assistant at WelTec from August 2019 to May 2021. Additional experience includes working as an Accounts Officer at Wakefield Hospital and as a Finance Contractor for Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency in 2018, along with a Finance Intern (Volunteer) role at SCOUTS New Zealand. Carol holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Hong Kong Baptist University. Currently, Carol is pursuing the status of Provisional Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
