Etanah Lalau-Talapa

Community Arts Facilitator at Hutt City Council

Etanah Lalau-Talapa is an experienced community arts professional currently serving as a Community Arts Facilitator at Hutt City Council since October 2022. Previously, Etanah held the position of Curator for Exhibitions and Public Programmes at Enjoy Contemporary Art Space from August 2021 to January 2023 and worked as a Session Assistant and Coordinator at Taita and Naenae Clubhouses from March 2019 to August 2021. Other roles include an Intern Assistant at Tauranga Art Gallery and Tertiary Liaison at Tautai Pacific Arts Trust. Etanah also has a history of leadership as President of the Massey Association of Pasifika Students while studying at Massey University, where a Bachelor of Design in Spatial Design was obtained. Early career experiences include roles in various artistic settings, including assistant positions and community volunteering. Education culminated with NCEA Level 3 UE at St. Mary's College.
