Marcia Skinnon

Marcia Skinnon has extensive experience in community management and housing services, currently serving as Community Hub Manager at Hutt City Council since November 2020. Prior roles include Wellington Regional Housing Manager at the Ministry of Social Development from August 2019 to November 2020, and Executive Manager at Dress for Success Wellington from July 2015 to November 2020. Marcia managed initiatives at Youth Inspire - Mayors Taskforce for Jobs from August 2013 to July 2015, focusing on youth development in the Greater Wellington Region. Additionally, Marcia was the Manager at Wainuiomata Community Centre from January 2009 to July 2013, where a Community Hub model was developed. Educational background includes studies at Erskine College Island Bay and Wellington East Girls College.
