Chris Masters

Chris Masters is a highly experienced medical professional with an extensive background in primary care and healthcare leadership. Currently serving as the Clinical Director of Primary and Integrated Care at Hutt Valley DHB since February 2017, Chris also holds the position of Clinical Lead for the Clinical Pathways Programme, focusing on enhancing clinical care quality and collaboration. As a General Practitioner at Ropata Medical Centre since 1997, Chris provides comprehensive primary care services to a large patient population. Previous roles include Medical Director at Melon Health, where emphasis was placed on patient engagement and self-management of health conditions, and Director at Patients First, facilitating IT solutions for health service delivery. Chris holds an MBChB degree from the University of Otago and specialized qualifications in general practice and obstetrics.
