Ian Bishop is an experienced professional in mental health and social work, currently serving as Team Leader for Intensive Clinical Services at Capital & Coast and Hutt Valley District Health Boards since January 2009, overseeing a team of Multisystemic Therapists focused on supporting at-risk youth aged 12-17. With a background as a Multi Systemic Therapist at Hutt Valley District Health Board since March 2003, Ian has specialized in addressing anti-social behaviors in young individuals through intensive family-centered interventions. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Richmond Youth Services and fundraising and retail management at Barnardos New Zealand. Ian holds a Master of Social Work (Applied) from Massey University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Victoria University of Wellington.
