Desirée McKinney Russell

Desirée McKinney Russell serves as Finance Manager at HUTTON since April 2021, where responsibilities include establishing a network of lenders to secure project-level financing for over 200 assets and obtaining construction and permanent financing for various real estate types. Prior to this role, Desirée worked as a Loan Administrator at HUTTON, aiding in the oversight of capital markets transactions and reviewing legal documents for commercial real estate loans. Desirée's earlier experience includes serving as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Regions Bank, where leadership roles included President of the Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association, and as a Financial Services Specialist, focusing on aligning financial products with customer needs. Additional experience encompasses a role as a Funding Specialist at NextGear Capital and a Youth Development position with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Desirée holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Foreign Language and Literature with a focus on Hispanic Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has continued education in Spanish in Costa Rica.
