Preksha Hooda

Preksha Hooda is currently a Biopharmaceutical Development Industrial Placement Student at AstraZeneca, focusing on optimizing mRNA purification processes for therapies against infectious diseases. In addition to this role, Preksha serves as an Article Writer for The Boar Sci-Tech and previously held the position of President at Warwick BioSoc, where responsibilities included managing operations, budgeting, and event planning. Preksha also has experience as a Summer Research Student at the University of Warwick, studying MAA-related molecules, and as an Assistant Horticultural Research Technician at Ripe Building Services Ltd, contributing to research on ETFE plastic in greenhouse environments. Preksha has been actively involved in various roles within the Warwick community, including as Publicity Officer and Course Representative at the University of Warwick, where studies are focused on Biochemistry. Preksha is pursuing an MBio (Hons) degree with Industrial Placement from the University of Warwick after completing a High School Diploma from Delhi Public School Noida.
