Martin Weber

Martin Weber is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in venture capital and corporate finance. As General Partner at HV Capital since August 2000, Martin has been instrumental in shaping one of Europe's most successful early-stage and growth investment firms. Prior to this role, Martin served as General Partner and Managing Director at Holtzbrinck Ventures GmbH, where the company became a leading player in the new media venture capital landscape in Germany. Martin's earlier roles include CFO positions at netlife AG and Bayerische Kapitalbeteiligungs GmbH, and a start as a Credit Analyst at Dresdner Bank AG. Martin also founded a publishing company focused on educational materials for students. Martin holds a Diploma in Marketing, Finance, and Law from Friedrich Alexander University Nürnberg, earned between 1986 and 1991.
