Chaggai Kon

Chaggai Kon is an experienced legal professional specializing in (cross-border) mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate advisory, corporate governance, and litigation. Currently serving as Partner M&A at HVG Law since July 2022, significant contributions include high-profile transactions such as the $730 million acquisition of Mendix by Siemens and the €440 million sale of HEMA to a consortium. Previously, Chaggai held positions at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek as a Senior Associate and at Stibbe as an Attorney at Law, where responsibilities included corporate legal documentation and advising on corporate governance. Additional experience includes founding Be Right, a legal practice, and holding leadership roles in various organizations. Chaggai holds advanced degrees in law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and participated in executive programs at INSEAD and London Business School.
