Dinu Davis Arakkal is a seasoned geotechnical engineer currently serving as Staff Geotechnical Engineer at HVJ Associates® since November 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed mentoring undergraduates and conducting research on synthetic rock-like samples for CO2 treatment. Dinu's initial academic contributions included lecturing at KMCT College of Architecture and Universal Engineering College, where laboratory management and student advisement were key roles. Early engineering experience features a project engineer position at Kollannur Buildings & Construction and research positions focused on soil properties and water distribution systems. Dinu holds two Master’s degrees in Geotechnical Engineering from Auburn University and Anna University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Calicut University.
