Saheem Ahmed, P.E.

Saheem Ahmed, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Structural Engineer at High-Point Rendel Ltd until 2004. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Civil Engineer at AECOM. Saheem then joined Capita Symonds as a Civil Engineer/Viaduct Design Coordinator from September to December 2005. In 2006, they served as a Structural Engineer at KEO International Consultants for a brief period before becoming a Graduate Research Assistant at New Mexico State University until 2008. From 2008 to 2017, Saheem worked at Terracon where they held various positions including Geotechnical Engineer and Geotechnical Department Manager I. In 2017, they rejoined Terracon as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and continued in this role until 2018. During the same year, they also worked as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI). Currently, Saheem holds the position of Vice President of Geotechnical Services at HVJ Associates® starting from November 2022.

Saheem Ahmed, P.E. pursued their education in the field of Civil Engineering. Saheem attained a Master's degree from New Mexico State University, completing their studies between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Peradeniya from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
