Jon Mussett

Jon Mussett has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and construction industry. Jon is currently the Strategic Programmes Director at High Value Manufacturing Catapult since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre as the Operations Director of the Construction Innovation Hub from 2019 to 2022. Jon also held various roles at BRE from 2006 to 2019, including Group Strategy Director, PMO Director, Product Director, Head of Strategy, Head of Building Design Consultancy, and Senior Consultant.

Jon Mussett completed their education with the following degrees: a MSc in Architecture, specializing in Advanced Environmental & Energy Studies, from the University of East London between 2001 and 2004; a Certificate in Landscape & Ecology from the University of East Anglia between 1999 and 2001; a BA in Language & Linguistics from the University of York between 1986 and 1990; and they also studied Semantics and Semiology at the Universite de Toulouse II - le Mirail between 1988 and 1989. In addition to their degrees, they hold a Chartered Manager Fellow certification from the Chartered Management Institute, obtained in 2023. Jon Mussett was also a Research Assistant at the British Institute in Eastern Africa in 1992.
