Lynne O'Hare

Lynne O'Hare is an experienced professional in the manufacturing sector with a strong background in engineering and commercial leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Portfolio Officer at High Value Manufacturing Catapult since November 2023, Lynne previously held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland from May 2019 to November 2023. Lynne's experience also includes roles such as Commercial Director and Senior Business Development Manager at the Advanced Forming Research Centre, University of Strathclyde, where Lynne worked from December 2017 to May 2019 and from September 2009 to December 2016, respectively. Additionally, Lynne started a career in academia as a Research Fellow at both the Advanced Forming Research Centre and the National Centre for Prosthetics and Orthotics, University of Strathclyde. Lynne holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering, both earned at the University of Strathclyde.
