Safwan Ferdous

Safwan Ferdous is a skilled CAE Engineer at Hwaseung R&A since April 2019, with prior experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, contributing to the mechanical and electrical design of an autonomous blimp. Formerly a Product Design Engineer at Rachis Systems Sdn. Bhd., Safwan created an innovative mobile robot and supervised 3D printing consulting. Experience also includes being a Solidworks trainer and Head of Competition at IIUM Sparktech, where responsibilities included teaching and organizing robotic competitions. Safwan's educational background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
