Carolyn Houren

Carolyn Houren is a Senior Investment Associate at S3 Ventures, having joined in July 2022 after serving as an Investment Associate. Carolyn focuses on seed, Series A, and Series B investments in B2B software, healthcare technology, and digital experiences. Based in Austin for over 20 years, Carolyn is involved as a Board Observer for several companies, including MontyCloud, Mavvrik, LeanDNA, ZSuite Tech, HYAS, Riscosity, and Rest, as well as serving as an investor for ControlRooms.ai. Carolyn holds a Master of Accountancy in Taxation and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and International Business, both from the University of Georgia, and has also studied at the University of Oxford.
