Alyssa Barnes

Alyssa Barnes is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the hospitality sector. Currently serving as Senior Counsel in Franchise at Hyatt Hotels Corporation since August 2024, Alyssa previously held multiple senior legal positions at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts from March 2011 to July 2024, including Senior Vice President of Legal for Global Franchising and Contracts Compliance. Prior to that, Alyssa worked as an Associate at McGuireWoods and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, and served as a Law Clerk for Hon. Dennis M. Cavanaugh at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Alyssa holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies from the University of Virginia.
