Juan Pablo Puerta Giraldo

Juan Pablo Puerta Giraldo is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, including hospitality and renewable energy. Currently serving as Senior Vice President Finance for Latin America and the Caribbean at Hyatt Hotels Corporation since January 2024, Juan Pablo previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Apple Leisure Group from October 2020 to January 2024, overseeing finance functions for over 60 resorts. Prior to that, Juan Pablo was the Americas Renewables Hub Leader at GE Renewable Energy, where responsibilities included global financial planning and the transformation of financial processes. Juan Pablo has also held multiple finance leadership roles at GE and other institutions since beginning a career in finance in 2005. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from INALDE Business School, a Master’s in Finance from CESA, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de La Sabana.
