Rebecca Smetters

Rebecca Smetters is an accomplished legal professional with over 14 years of experience in the legal sector, currently serving as the Director of Legal Services for Franchising at Hyatt Hotels Corporation since July 2009. Rebecca specializes in drafting Franchise Disclosure Documents and franchise agreements. Prior roles at Hyatt include Senior Paralegal and Legal Manager within the Franchising legal department. In addition to legal work, Rebecca contributes to academia as an Adjunct Instructor in Political Science and Mock Trial Coach at North Central College, and previously coached at Elgin Community College. Rebecca holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from Northern Illinois University and a Professional Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Elgin Community College.
