Akshay Venkatesh

Akshay Venkatesh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Akshay worked as a Fuel Processing Systems Engineer at HyAxiom, Inc. from September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2020 to September 2022. Akshay also gained experience as an Analytical Research & Development Intern at Novartis from January 2020 to June 2020. Akshay served as a Business Development Intern at Swiggy's New Supply Department in Bangalore from July 2019 to December 2019, where they focused on brand development and growth. Additionally, they worked as a Theatre Director and Actor for The Drama Club at BITS Goa from August 2015 to May 2019, participating in national theater competitions and winning various awards. Furthermore, Akshay served as a Teaching Assistant at BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus from August 2018 to December 2018, and as a Research Assistant at CSIR - Central Leather Research Institute from May 2017 to July 2017. Lastly, they held the position of Literary Head in the Literary and Debating Club at BITS Goa from April 2016 to April 2017.

Akshay Venkatesh completed their Master's degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a B Sc in Chemistry from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Financial Markets (with Honors), Drug Development, and Drug Discovery from Coursera in June 2020 and January 2020 respectively.
