Staff Field Systems Engineer at HyAxiom, Inc.

Andrew DeMartini has a diverse work experience in the field of fuel cell technology. Andrew started their career as a Heterogeneous Materials Researcher at UCSB, where they developed optoelectronic materials. Andrew then moved on to the University of Washington as an Electrochemistry/Fuel Cell Researcher, where their work focused on improving the performance of fuel cells. During their time at the university, they also served as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate labs and lectures.

In 2009, Andrew joined ClearEdge Power as a Sr. Field Systems Engineer. In this role, they were involved in the development of the company's 5kW fuel cell power plant. Andrew played a key role in improving the reliability and performance of the product through design and software improvements. Andrew also led troubleshooting efforts and provided technical support to various teams within the company. Additionally, they developed training curriculum for junior engineers and technicians.

ClearEdge Power was later acquired by Doosan Fuel Cell America, and Andrew's role shifted to a Staff Field Systems Engineer. In this role, they worked on the development of a 400kW fuel cell power plant.

Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated a strong technical background and the ability to contribute to the improvement of fuel cell technology.

Andrew DeMartini's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at UC Santa Barbara for their undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. Andrew completed their studies in 2005, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Following this, Andrew pursued further education at the University of Washington, where they enrolled in a Master of Science (MS) program in Chemical Engineering from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In December 2012, they became a Six Sigma Green Belt through the American Society for Quality. Later, in December 2013, they obtained the certification of Professional Engineer (Chemical) from the State of California.
