Cynthia Hamilton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Cynthia started their career in 2003 at General Motors as a VAET-Vehicle Assembly Engineer, where they utilized statistical techniques for root cause analysis and problem-solving. Cynthia also worked closely with national suppliers to improve their processes and participated in projects to enhance customer satisfaction.

In 2004, Hamilton joined Continental Automotive Systems as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they focused on reducing bottlenecks and optimizing production efficiency through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Poka yokes. Cynthia also played a crucial role in identifying non-conformities and developing manufacturing methods and work instructions.

Afterwards, Hamilton worked at Renault-Nissan as a Buyer Specialist from 2008 to 2010, before joining Westport as a Fuel Systems Technical Buyer, Supply Development from 2012 to 2013.

From 2014 to 2018, Hamilton worked at AFCC Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp. as a Strategic Sourcing Lead. In this role, they led the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of potential suppliers based on commercial, financial, and technical requirements. Cynthia also conducted commercial and strategic assessments of suppliers.

Hamilton's most recent role was as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for New Product Introduction at HyAxiom, Inc. starting in 2018.

Throughout their career, Hamilton has demonstrated expertise in sourcing, supplier evaluation, strategic planning, and process optimization.

Cynthia Hamilton pursued their education at the Zacatepec Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Manufacturing. Cynthia later attended the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) from 2006 to 2007, where they completed a Six Sigma program and focused on Lean Manufacturing.
