Dave Flanaghan

Dave Flanaghan has over 30 years of work experience in the aerospace and fuel cell industries. Dave started their career at HAMILTON SUNDSTRAND, EC&A Group as a Project Engineer and later became a Test Equipment Designer/Supervisor and then a Project Manager. In these roles, they managed teams, addressed field problems, allocated resources, and ensured on-time deliveries.

Flanaghan then joined UTC Power as an Engineering Manager, where they led a group of project managers in designing fuel cell engines for various automotive programs. Dave also served as a Business Manager, managing the Automotive sector's profit and loss, cultivating new business opportunities, and ensuring on-time deliveries. Later, they became a Business Development Manager, identifying and developing new business opportunities, negotiating business terms, and leading contract preparation activities.

Flanaghan then moved to Triumph Engine Control Systems as a Program Manager, where they led a cross-functional international team in developing a hydro-mechanical control for an advanced turbofan engine. Dave worked closely with Engineering, Operations, and the customer to ensure successful product development, certification testing, and contractual requirements.

Most recently, Flanaghan joined Doosan Fuel Cell America, Inc. as the General Manager of the Sales Program Office. Further details about this role are not provided.

Dave Flanaghan's education history includes three notable experiences. Dave began their undergraduate studies in 1979 at the University of Hartford, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Dave completed their degree in this field in 1983. After a gap in their education, they enrolled at Western New England University in 1985 and completed their studies in 1987. During this period, they pursued a Master of Science in Engineering Management. In 2004, Dave attended Darden / University of Virginia, where they obtained a certificate through the United Technologies, Emerging Leaders Program.
