Eric Nuhfer has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Eric is currently serving as a Sr Systems Engineer at HyAxiom, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at FuelCell Energy for a significant period of time. At FuelCell Energy, they held multiple roles including SR Test Engineer from January 2016 to April 2022, Test Engineer from January 2012 to 2016, and JR Test Engineer from February 2008 to January 2012. Before their time at FuelCell Energy, Eric worked at On Site Gas Systems, Inc. as a Product Development Engineering Technician from March 2005 to February 2008. During this role, they were responsible for performing final functional tests of new designs and products. Additionally, Eric has also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at UConn Research in 2000 and 2002.
Eric Nuhfer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the UConn School of Engineering from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications including the Complete SQL Bootcamp and R Programming A-Z from Udemy. Eric further expanded their skills by earning a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Central Connecticut State University.
