Ibrahim Khan Mohammed

Mechanical Design Engineer- Contractor for Rock Engineering LLC at HyAxiom, Inc.

Ibrahim Khan Mohammed has a diverse background in mechanical engineering. Ibrahim Khan began their career as a Mechanical CAD Designer Trainee at SVR Infotech in 2013, where they designed mechanical products and performed Finite Element Analysis. Ibrahim Khan then interned as a Mechanical Tool Designer at the Central Institute of Tool Design, where they collaborated with professional designers to create 3D models of mechanical tools and performed FEA analysis.

In 2014, Ibrahim joined Nox Engineering Pvt Ltd as an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer. During their time there, they designed and optimized mechanical components, prepared manufacturing drawings, and created 3D CAD models. Ibrahim Khan also conducted ANSYS simulations to analyze the designs.

Since 2018, Ibrahim has been involved with HyAxiom, Inc. and Rock Engineering LLC. Ibrahim Khan initially worked as a Contractor for Rock Engineering LLC, serving as a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Stanley Access Technologies Honolulu Transit Project. Ibrahim Khan'sresponsibilities included designing, product development, and handling product data management.

Ibrahim Khan then transitioned to Rock Engineering LLC as a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer, continuing their work on the Honolulu Transit Project. Ibrahim used PTC Creo Parametric 5.0 for designing and was responsible for drawing updates and model changes. Ibrahim Khan also handled product data management in Windchill.

Ibrahim Khan Mohammed has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport, which they obtained between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Ibrahim has obtained certifications in ANSYS and CATIA V5 from the Central Institute of Tool Design in India in January 2014.
