Matthew Garwood

Matthew Garwood has a work experience that includes roles in two companies. Matthew started their career at RBC Bearings in 2017 as a Manufacturing Engineer and worked there until 2021. In 2021, they joined HyAxiom, Inc. as a Quality Engineer and later became a Senior Quality Engineer in 2023.

Matthew Garwood earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Connecticut School of Business from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2013 to 2017, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Matthew has obtained several certifications, including Norton Abrasives Grind Training from Saint-Gobain Abrasives in January 2019, Continuous Improvement Champion Certification (CICC) from CONNSTEP, Inc. in January 2018, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from Central Connecticut State University in January 2018.
