Mohamed Hafez

Chief Technology Officer at HyBird Technologies

Mohamed Hafez started their work experience in 2010 as a Physics Intern at the National Physical Laboratory, where they worked on designing a LCR bridge circuit and assisting with the maintenance of an atomic clock. Mohamed then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Ultra Electronics, where they gained experience in designing and drawing plans and developed a camera/telescope for fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In 2011, Mohamed became self-employed as a Personal Tutor, where they tutored students in mathematics and physics, helping them achieve high grades.

Mohamed then worked at Costain as a Mechanical Engineer on the C610 Crossrail Systemwide rail project, and later as a Mechanical Engineer Tunnel Ventilation at Costain Group PLC, working on the design and construction of Crossrail tunnels.

From 2014 to 2018, Mohamed worked at Atomor Limited as the co-founder and Managing Director of a luxury accessories business. Mohamed was responsible for designing items using CAD software and integrating manufacturing with the design of parts.

Mohamed'smost recent role was as the Chief Technology Officer at HyBird Technologies, where they played a key role in developing and implementing technology strategies.

Mohamed Hafez completed their secondary education at Greenford High School from 2005 to 2012. Later, they pursued a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at UCL, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
