Guillermo Varón

Guillermo Varón has held various roles in the engineering and technical fields since 1999. Guillermo began their career as a Customer Service Representative for Sunday River Skiway in 1999. In 2003, they worked as a Quality Assurance Manager for Disproel S.A. and a General Field Engineer for Proyectos Andinos SA - Proansa. Guillermo then worked as an Electrical Engineer for Cosenit in 2005. From 2005 to 2014, they worked for Telefonica Móviles Colombia as a Senior Switch Engineer and a Senior Maintenance Engineer. Guillermo'smost recent role is Technical Manager for Hybrid Energy Storage Solutions Ltd., a position they have held since 2022.

Guillermo Varón obtained their Electrical Engineer and Ingeniería degrees from Universidad de Los Andes between 1997 and 2002. Guillermo then completed a Tesis en ingeniería eléctrica at Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse in 2002. In 2010, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing/Gestión de marketing, general from ESIC Business & Marketing School. Guillermo also obtained an Especialista en Formulación y Desarrollo de Proyectos from Universidad del Rosario between 2010 and 2013. In 2016, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
