Lead Hardware Engineer at Hybrid Energy Storage Solutions

Víctor Gómez Castro has an extensive work experience in the field of hardware engineering. Víctor began their career in 2003 as an Industrial Technical Engineer specializing in Electronics at Albatros Support Services. In 2008, they joined AICIA (Andalusian Association for Research and Industrial Cooperation) as an Electronic Engineer, where they designed hardware for electronic systems, programmed dsPic, and developed hardware control systems for hydrogen cells and BMS systems for Lithium Polymer cells. In 2010, they joined Win Inertia as an R&D Engineer and Head of Systems Area, where they directed projects, designed hardware based on ARM and DSP processors, and developed electronic control systems for 1MW power converters and BMS systems for batteries and supercapacitors. In 2016, they moved to Ontech Security as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer. Finally, in 2018, they joined both Hybrid Energy Storage Solutions Ltd. as a Lead Hardware Engineer and Noxium as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer.

Víctor Gómez Castro studied Ingeniería Electrónica at the Universidad de Sevilla from 2004 to 2007. Víctor then studied Ingeniería Técnica Industrial with a specialization in Electrónica Industrial at the Universidad de Huelva from 2000 to 2004. In addition, they have obtained certifications in AUTOCAD 3D from CECE - Confederación Española de Centros de Enseñanza in December 2020, IFCT128PO BIG DATA from CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS ACTIVA FORMACION S.L. in February 2020, and Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in October 2016.
