Shahin Mendis

Shahin Mendis has a diverse work experience in the field of digital marketing and e-business development. Shahin started their career as an Executive in the Outbound Call Center at Etisalat Lanka (Private) Limited in 2013. Later, they served as an Executive in the Inbound Call Center and Executive in the Customer Experience Management department, where they handled calls, provided tech support, and managed Etisalat's official Facebook page.

In 2016, Shahin co-founded AD Lighting. Shahin then joined Aitken Spence Hotels in 2018 as an Ebusiness Executive, responsible for online sales and coordinating the implementation of a Guest Management System. Shahin was promoted to Senior E-Business Executive in 2019, achieving year-on-year and month-on-month incremental growth in online sales.

In 2021, Shahin became a Digital Marketing Strategist at AdroitLogic, where they developed and implemented digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and customer journeys. Shahin was later promoted to Digital Marketing Lead, overseeing the overall digital marketing strategy and implementing various marketing channels to drive brand growth.

Currently, Shahin is working as a Paid Media Manager at Hybrid, starting in 2022.

Shahin Mendis has a diverse education history with a focus on marketing and computer systems networking. In 2018, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma of Marketing from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Prior to that, in 2017, they completed a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the same institute. In 2016, they received a Professional Certificate in Marketing (CIM). Apart from marketing, Shahin also has a technical background. In 2015, they completed the CCNA Routing Switching V5 program from the Cisco Networking Academy. In 2011, they obtained a Diploma in English Language from the University of Aquinas. In addition to their formal education, Shahin has also obtained certifications from Google. In May 2018, they completed the Google Analytics for Beginners course, followed by the Google Analytics certification in April 2018.
