Edgar Weishaupt

Edgar Weishaupt is currently the Director at Hydac, a position held since 2016, after serving as the Managing Director from 2003 to 2015. Prior to joining Hydac, Edgar was the General Manager at SMS Demag, where they worked from 1995 to 2003, focusing on hydraulics, lubrication systems, and water treatment plants. Edgar began their academic career as a Graduate Assistant at RWTH Aachen from 1990 to 1995, conducting research on adaptive electro-hydraulic controls. They earned a Dr. Ing. degree in Hydraulik from RWTH Aachen University, where they studied from 1983 to 1995.
