Frank Dr. Theilen has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Frank is currently the Managing Director at HYDAC Digital GmbH since January 2021. Prior to this, they were the Head of Digital Transformation at HYDAC Group from July 2020 to December 2020. Before joining HYDAC, Frank served as a Lecturer of International Corporate Management at Leibniz-Fachhochschule from September 2021 to October 2022. Prior to Emerson, they worked as a GCP Consulting Partner at Tata Consultancy Services in 2015. Frank also gained experience as a Partner at m3 management consulting GmbH from 2010 to 2015 and as a Principal at Droege Group from 2004 to 2010. Frank began their career as a Trainee at Volksbank Jever eG in 1992.

- In 1995-1997, they obtained a Vordiplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Ruhr University Bochum.

- From 1997-2000, they earned a Diplom Ökonom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.

- Frank then pursued a Dr. rer. pol. degree in Produktionswirtschaft from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg from 2001-2003.

- In 2019, they completed a Professional Track in Design Thinking from Hasso Plattner Institute.
