Lydia Barnes

Lydia Barnes, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Lydia is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Hyde Park Hospitality, LLC since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Tax Manager at RSM US LLP from December 2021 to August 2023. Before RSM, Lydia held the position of Tax Manager at Plante Moran from January 2020 to December 2021 and served as a Senior Tax Accountant from June 2018 to January 2020. Lydia gained experience as a Senior Tax Accountant and Staff Accountant at Mueller Prost from September 2017 to June 2018, and from January 2015 to June 2018, respectively. Lydia also worked as an Analyst at The Maschhoffs for a brief period from May 2014 to August 2014. Additionally, they started their career as a Tax Intern at Mueller Prost in January 2014, where they worked until April 2014.

Lydia Barnes, CPA, holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their education, Lydia has obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification in 2015 and the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2012.
