Doug Purdy

V.P., Engineering at Hydra Cell

Doug Purdy has had a long and varied career in engineering. Doug began their career in 1986 as a Stress Engineer at McDonnel Douglas. Doug then moved to Ingersoll Rand in 1991, where they were Engineering Systems Manager, managing engineering systems and data, and several product development projects, as well as managing the move of an acquired product line from Michigan to Ohio. In 2001, they joined Wanner Engineering as V.P. of Engineering.

Doug Purdy attended Western Michigan University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor's of Science in Aircraft Engineering. Doug then attended Purdue University from 1996 to 1998, where they earned a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Lastly, they attended Purdue University Krannert School of Management from 1998 to 2000, where they earned a Master's of Science in Management.
