Starting in 2007, Ilya worked at Prosol Distribution Inc as a Branch Manager and Regional Sales Representative, responsible for managing sales operations across multiple locations. In 2015, Ilya became the Chief Executive Officer at GridGear Solutions Ltd, a Canadian company focused on designing and manufacturing electricity meters for tenant billing. Currently, Ilya holds the position of Service Delivery Lead at Hydra Energy, starting in 2021.
