George Gan

George Gan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. George most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer (Southeast Asia) at Hydrexia starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at MIE Agro Sdn Bhd from 2018 to 2022. Before that, George held the position of General Manager Operations at Keystone Foods from 2017 to 2018.

In 2016, George served as the Chief Operating Officer at Equis Shared Services (Bioeq Energy), where they were responsible for recruiting and building a management team for a sugarcane farm and ethanol processing plant. George also managed their operations and sourcing of raw materials.

From 2014 to 2016, George worked at Air Liquide, first as the President & CEO, overseeing overall company management and operations, and later as the Sales and Marketing Director, leading sales and business development activities. During their tenure, they successfully grew the business and secured significant contracts.

George's earlier experience includes roles at The Linde Group, where they served as a Key Account Manager, National Distribution Manager, East Coast Operations Manager, and Operations Engineer. In these roles, they managed various aspects of operations, logistics, and customer relationships.

George Gan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 1994.
