Amy Breen

Amy Breen is the Manager of Government Relations at Hydro Tasmania since January 2023. Prior to this role, Amy served in various senior advisory capacities within the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Tas) from April 2008 to January 2023, including positions advising Hon Jo Palmer MLC, Hon Madeleine Ogilvie MP, and Hon Jane Howlett MLC, as well as roles in the Government Media Office and as a Senior Communications Consultant. Amy's earlier experience includes working as a Communications Consultant for the Department of Health and Human Services and as a Media Officer at the Department of Economic Development. Amy began a career in research as a Morgan Poll Officer with Roy Morgan Research from May 2004 to April 2005. Education includes a BA/BCom degree in Marketing, Journalism, and English from the University of Tasmania, completed between 2000 and 2003.
