Carolyn Maxwell has extensive experience in environmental management and sustainability, currently serving as Acting Manager Environment and Climate and Water Strategy Specialist at Hydro Tasmania since October 2010. Carolyn has a strong focus on climate risk identification, adaptation, and mitigation, along with a background as Aquatic Program Lead and Senior Aquatic Scientist, specializing in aquatic assessment, risk analysis, wetland rehabilitation, and threatened species management. Prior to Hydro Tasmania, Carolyn worked as an Environmental Consultant at Entura from February 2003 to October 2010, engaging in data assessment, environmental reporting, and providing environmental advice. Carolyn holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Limnology from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from Flinders University.
