Denita Gould

Denita Gould has extensive experience in legal counsel positions, currently serving as the Assistant Corporation Secretary and Special Counsel at Hydro Tasmania since March 2020, with previous roles including Acting Corporation Secretary and Legal Stream Lead. Prior experience includes Senior Corporate Counsel and Acting General Counsel at Nutrien/Landmark Operations Limited from June 2018 to October 2019, and Legal Counsel at Spotless Group from March 2016 to May 2018. Earlier legal experience encompasses Corporate Counsel at Agrium Asia Pacific, Special Counsel at Hall & Wilcox, Senior Associate at Hall & Wilcox with a focus on commercial dispute resolution and banking & finance, and legal roles starting from an apprenticeship at Piggott Wood & Baker in 1996. Denita Gould holds a Bachelor of Arts/Laws and a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from the University of Tasmania and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
