Emma Birch

Emma Birch has a diverse work experience, primarily in the hydroelectric power industry. Emma started their career at Entura in 2002 as a Civil Engineer and worked there until 2011. Emma then joined Hydro Tasmania, where they held multiple roles including Dams Engineer, Senior Dams Engineer, Acting Manager Operations, Manager Operations, and currently as the Head of Asset Management PMO since 2019. Emma'swork at Hydro Tasmania showcases their expertise in asset management and operations in the hydroelectric power sector.

Emma Birch attended Pymble Ladies College until 1997, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Emma then went on to study at the University of Sydney and completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering in 2002. Additionally, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Sydney in the same year.
