Juozefina Katz (Jo)

Juozefina (Jo) Katz is an accomplished Electrical Engineer currently employed at Hydro Tasmania since February 2021, where responsibilities include providing engineering support for safe and reliable generation and developing business cases for capital projects. Prior experience includes a rotation as a Graduate Electrical Engineer within the Hydro Business Group and involvement in the Lake Echo headworks control system upgrade, adapting control code for enhanced operations. Juozefina previously interned at the Intelledox Digital Transformation Centre at the Australian National University, focusing on designing and improving processes using Ui Path and SQL. An undergraduate at the Australian National University, Juozefina earned degrees in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering as well as Economics, while also engaging in leadership roles as Executive Director for the Vice Chancellor's Student Leadership Program and as a Mentee at MentorMe Cisco.
